CRS is excited to share one of its most cherished traditions, our annual holiday concert, in the beauty and grandeur of Central Presbyterian Church. To help fill this marvelous space we have invited some very special guest musicians to join us as we explore together some of the sounds and memories of the holiday season. With voices young and old(er), there is sure to be plenty of wonder and magic…and probably even a little mischief. So, come and join us and make our favorite holiday tradition a part of yours!
Downbeat to Bar Line: Music Through Our Lives

Chamber Choir returns for a first-of-its-kind collaboration with the Anschutz medical student, Stella Martin. We are surrounded by music from our first breath to our last and every moment in between. Together we will explore how humans are hardwired to be impacted by this lifetime of music. Stella and the choir will pair science, research, and singing together with the hope that deeper understanding will allow us to take what is often a passive correlation and leverage it (music) as a powerful tool in our daily lives. Afterall, it’s not magic, it’s neuroscience!
Requiem for the Living: A CRS Educational Collaboration
with Special Guests from Brighton High School, Prairie View High School, and Riverdale Ridge High School

Our annual educational masterwork collaboration reaches new highs this season as we collaborate with all of the high school choral programs from District 27J! Over 200 singers will take the stage with a live orchestra to bring Dan Forrest’s sweepingly soulful Requiem for the Living to life. You won’t want to miss this celebration of the power of music to reach across generations and create beauty and connection.

Next season will close with a reprise of one of our most popular concert themes in recent years, Songs from Stage & Screen. From movies to musicals to streaming and beyond, music is the driving force behind our experiences across these various stages and screens. We will, once again, cover a broad range of styles and genres from pop to opera to choral classics and more. So, come grab some popcorn and join us for the show!
