Colorado Repertory Singers Members Information
Dues:
- Dues total $150 per singer per season (two performances each of the Christmas, Spring and Summer concerts). It is customary to pay dues to the Treasurer by Sept 30th of each season. Arrangements can be made with the Treasurer, if needed, for a payment plan, but this is not the norm
Music:
- All choral music is the property of CRS and should be returned to the Secretary at the end of each concert. You have an assigned music number. If a piece is repeated in another concert, you should receive your music score again with all your prior markings.
Concert dress:
- For traditional concerts, women are to wear black floor-length skirts, dresses, or black dress slacks. Black long-sleeved blouses, black closed-toed shoes, black hosiery, small earrings and no neckline jewelry.
Men are to wear black tuxedos, white long-sleeved shirts, black cummerbunds, and black bow ties.
- Costumes for non-traditional concerts, such as the Hit Parade concert, can enhance the musical experience for performers and audience members alike. For performances of this nature, costuming will be decided by the VP of Performance and President in conjunction with the Artistic Director to ensure the feel of the music is reflected in our dress. Every effort is made to ensure a professional and dynamic stage presence while also making costuming easy, fun, accessible, and affordable.
Fundraising:
- There are several opportunities for fund raising throughout the season. You are expected to make every effort to assist in raising funds to support the organization. We are a non-profit group and need to raise funds to pay for rehearsal space, performance space, music, and other items.
