Conducting Fellow, Kevin Gwinn

 

Kevin joined CRS as a Conducting Fellow for the second half of the current performance season. He also directs the high school choirs at the Denver Waldorf School, including the 65 member all-school Spartan Choir. Recent performances at the Waldorf School include Horowitz’s A Christmas Carol and the combined high school music program’s Winter Concert. Upcoming engagements include select members of the Spartan Choir providing music for TS Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral. Kevin also teaches voice and elements of opera at the Colorado Springs Conservatory.

Kevin holds both a Performance Certificate and a Master of Music degree from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Mississippi. Engagement with CRS as a Conducting Fellow is helping him pursue a conducting career.
